Bibliographic Survey of Scientific Publications in the Scopus Database on Hospitality and Meetings

Abstract

Hospitality is not just an observable action but it is an expected virtue in the encounter with a stranger or foreigner which result may be the approximation or distancing between those involved. This paper presents the outcome from a bibliographic study on the scientific articles available in the Scopus database that deal with hospitality and meetings. A systematic search was carried out in an international database (Scopus). The objective of this work is to generates theoretical foundation for other researches as the final considerations point, mainly, to the need for research on the topic.
